Welcome to the Website of Magicland Alpacas, a pioneer in the German and European Alpaca breeding market.

Magicland Alpacas, founded in 1999, is since 2000 the first full time professional Alpaca breeding operation in Germany and probably in Mainland Europe. Meanwhile in 2006, more farms have followed our example. Still, the alpaca market is a niche market in Europe. And we are at the very beginning, good to be part of it from the very beginning. We were the first to import a suri alpaca herd into Germany in 2000.

We have currently around 90 alpacas at our farm in Saxony and about the same number at our Farm in Gummern, Lower Saxony, West Germany.

While in the first years some smiled at us, we alpaca breeders in Europe have been able to establish breed societies that are respected internationally, and we have helped to contribute to build a market for the alpaca and for its end products. Both sides of this exciting new business are still in its infancy, and this is both a huge opportunity and something to go for.

More and more, people become more confident to invest into alpacas, not only because of the lifestyle, but also because they intend to make a serious business out of it.

We will update this website on a regular basis, so please stop by often and check it out as it grows. We intend to put this site up also in the English language, step by step.

At this point I would like to thank you for your interest in these magnificent animals, and our customers for their trust in us.

We supply first time buyers as well as professional breeders with top quality alpacas of both breeds, Huacaya and Suri, in many colors. We have sold quality alpacas to England, France, Netherlands, Luxembourg, Spain and Austria, but mostly within Germany.

Please check out our alpacas for sale (Verkaufstiere) , both top quality as well as a few pets for leisure and fibre production.

In January 2005 we have imported a group of 38 wonderful alpacas from Chile, a shipment of 90 quality alpacas we imported in September 2005 and another 90 alpacas we imported in July 2006, together with our new partner Alpacas of Germany Ltd. Please call us for details.
